This is a daily self-reflection journal (I also have a daily planner) that will work for anyone who has ADHD, Anxiety, or is overwhelmed, over-scheduled.

  • You'll receive two files, 1 file in black and white and 1 in color.

  • You'll enjoy the energy tracker section.

  • There is a portion to remind you about the non-negotiables for the day and yourself.

  • A section to record how who and what your interactions were the day before.

How the Journal came to be: Did you notice that since the pandemic started we’ve all realized that we need to connect to our innermost parts more, with family and friends and that we want to self-reflect more? Have you noticed that we need to capture our thoughts and conversations before the next thing on our to-do hits us in the face and we forget? That we had a really great idea as we woke up that morning or even simpler things like what did I do yesterday, who did I meet, who gave me really good advice and by morning it’s all gone- poof? How did I receive that feedback at the office meeting? Who said a prayer over me or who said they needed prayer, what did they want me to pray along with them for?

Well I noticed too and that’s how this reflection journal came about - so I thought of things that I love from all my past calendars, planners, and journaling years and the things I always wanted in my calendar, planner, and journal but couldn’t find. And during the pandemic, I wrote them down on a copy paper and printed them out, and then every day during the Pandemic I would dedicate a quiet time to capture my thoughts and ideas using my journal. I’ve always loved to write things down so I could get them done and this journal I started printing daily helped me check in on how I did the day before, like what did I get done and what did I not do.

The beauty of it is that after discovering my ADHD and Anxiety early 2021 - I saw how the journal fit into capturing my feelings and thoughts before they disappeared totally from me in a few days.

And, yes forgetfulness is one of the executive function issues that come with having ADHD - tagged short term memory. Because it’s hard to remember details.

My planner is really my second brain as that ADHD doctor said ... I never leave home without it.
